The love of dahlias began in 2018 with the plan to become a stockist for quality tubers to justify growing my collection.
Madame Bonaparte is named after Josephine Bonaparte wife of Napoleon who first made this flower fashionable. Like most dahlia enthusiasts my flowers quickly outgrew my garden. A garden full of Cafe au lait in Hayes Paddock, Hamilton east plus many more varieties had to be moved to Raglan regenerative farms between the avocados. Our offering is inspired by tulip mania and the rise of popularity of this flower in the 1950s we provide a quality service for those with dahlia mania and a mutual love of these flowers.

noun
a tuberous-rooted Mexican plant of the daisy family, which is cultivated for its brightly coloured single or double flowers.
—
Our selection of dahlia tubers has been carefully considered and curated to choose varieties for florists favouring cut flowers in the ball shaped and dark cultivars. We also have show varieties and have entered into both the Hamilton shows and the National show in 2024 winning some awards.
Location
The tubers have been cultivated in my garden in Hayes Paddock Hamilton East and are now almost all out at Raglan regenerative farm at Nau Mai Road just minutes out of Raglan town.
Tubers
The tubers have been in the ground for 3-4 years which allows a good time period to monitor for diseases.
Flowers
Our flowers have been available to Raglan florists and the locals of Raglan at the Raglan growers market but we are expanding to the Hamilton and Cambridge markets this year.
Bouquets
We will be offerering custom bouquets as on line offerings to the local Raglan community and Hamilton if there is a demand.
